BANDUNG city..

it's a green city and a paradise city for the food especially for me as a sundanese girl hhehe.

Bandung is our last destination of my january trip for 3 weeks in 4 islands (java island, bali island, lombok island, and gili trawangan island). We went to Bandung by Air Asia Airways from Ngurah Rai Airport Bali. The weather was very bad, ı felt on the bus not in the airplane. I couldnt see anything beside dark cloud. But still we arrived safely :)

İn other city, we always trıed to find a cheap food during our trip so we didntcome to a nice cafe or delicious food hehe. But after arrived in bandung, i decided to do culinary tour. In Bandung, i stayed in my bestfriend's house (putri). I cooked our food and it was great one. If u bought in the cafe, it would be expensıve one lol just joking. I tried many foods also in bandung, but i forgot. Actually, my purposed to go to bandung just want to meet my friends who awere studying in that city. I mıssed them so much. I didnt spend much money there because ı got my accomodation and most of time i cooked my food and my friends's food also :) And my friend also had car so i went many places by her car :)

I just paıd for my transportation to my city (bogor) and some cakes and body lotion for threatment because i was so dark at the time hehehehe.

JANUARY 2010: Perfect GILI TRAWANGAN ISLAND

Well, what can i say,

Gili Trawangan island was so crazy. İt was very very very beautiful island.

We went there by a traditional boat and it was so scary. the weather was very bad. I felt i would sink at that time hehehe, the dutch girl next to me asked me 'can u swim?because many holes in this boat.' hehehe yeah there was a big wave in the sea.

After we arrived in the island, we couldnt say anything. the island wa perfect. the water of sea is the most perfect.

We tried to find a cottages and thanks god we came in the perfect date cause it wasnt high season anymore. U can get a great bungallow with great price. I got a bungalow, there were 4 beds, air conditioner, big bathroom, balcony can use kitchen and can ride the bicyle free just 200000 a night. We were 6 people in that room cause the room vey very big around 7x5 metre.

Then on that day, me and my friends decided to do gilis explore. we paid 100000 rupiah for tour in 3 gilis island. gili air, gili meno, and gili trawangan for snorkelling. But because the weather was so bad with a big wave so many spots we left them cause the wave was higher than the boat lol. it was very very adventure. I could say, Gili Air was a great spot for snorkelling. The fish will go closer to us when we feed the with bread. I regreted at the time because i was snorkelling with life jacket. it was the first time i swam in the sea even i could swim.

On the night we went outside the cottage. But no party at the night. In gili island there was a schedule for party, 3 nights a week and just 1 cafe on the day. The cafe also is abosultely perfect. U can stay next to the sea and u dont have to pay for expensıve food. Yeah I love this island so much compare then stayed in Kuta beach Bali. But, we just stayed one night in this island, but hope i will back again with my bf or my husband :). İt's a perfect place to fall in love.

I spent about 250000 rupiah in gili island for food, shopping, accomodation, and gili explore tour.

JANUARY 2010: Sunset in LOMBOK

Yeah, senggigi beach located in West lombok and I love this beach because in the shadow of the hill so not that hot. Lombok İsland is our third destination.We went to Lombok by Phery (cause it was the budget way compared with speed boat). We took Pehery  from PadaiBai, Bali and we used Panorama tour as agent tour who arranged our transportation. We stayed in senggigi beach for 2 nights and it was a cheap hotel just 150000 a night with airconditiıoner. Senggigi beach is quite place, dont compare with Bali. My hotel is next to a pub, i forgot the name. So it was difficult to sleep coz music all night long. We didnt go to the club because there was my mom on my trip hehehehe. From 16 January (early morning) till 19 January. We stayed at Senggigi area and the dayafter, we moved to Gili Trawangan Island used traditional boat. We used an agent tour and paid 50000 for transportation. public transportatiıon was difficult in lombok.


I spent about Rp. 700000 ($65) including transportation from bali and back to bali, then transportation from senggingi to gili trawangan island, then back again to senggigi, accomodation, hotels, shopping, etc.

JANUARY 2010: BALI PARADİSE

Bali was our second destination after Yogyakarta. We used Mandala airlines from Adi Sucipto Airport to Ngurah Rai Airport. It was around 350.000 rupiah .The weather was so bad. We stayed in Bali from 11 januarymid night untill 16 january 2010 then we went to Lombok Island, but we back again to bali on 19 January.

We stayed at Tune Hotels Legian, we booked around 90000/night cause we booked online in advance , but moved to a cottage in Kuta in popies area, then moved again to Tune Hotels Legian. We rent a motor bike around 50.000 rupiah a day an we moved to our place by the motor bike. The hotel is near from central of kuta beach but still better Tune Hotels.

We rent a car, lucky us, it's cheap Rp. 290.000 (around $30) from 9 am to 8 pm. We went around bali such as Tanah Lot, Bedugul, Bratan Lake, Nusa Dua Beach, Tanjung Benoa, etc. The car wa APV (with ac) :) I learned surfing in kuta beach for 2 hours was about 100.000 rupiah. then i swam in the pool of my hotel.

I spent about Rp. 1.700.000 ( $180) including airplane ticket from jogja to bali and fom bali to bandung, hotels, accomodation, shopping, water sports, rent car n motor bike n taxi, etc.

JANUARY 2010: Visit Yogyakarta, İndonesia

Me, Gabby, and Ghita had trip to some cities from 8 january till 23 january 2010 . The first our destination was Yogyakarta still in Java Island. We used AirAsia Airlines at 6 am from Jakarta to Adisucipto Airport. It just took 1 hour from jakarta.. We stayed at Sastrowijayan area near from Malioboro.  We used publıc bus from airport to Malioboro and it was very cheap, about 3000 rupiah). We visited many places in Yogyakarta such as Borobudur tempe, Prambanan temple, Taman sari, Pasar Bringharjo, Candi Boko, malioboro street, Unıversity of Gajah mada etc. İ used public bus from my hostel to Prambanan then walked aroun 15 minutes (it was a budget way). we also bought the ticket including Candi Boko and it really worth it. We went to Tamansari palace by walking but we back by becak. To go to Borobudur was difficult one because it was outside Yogyakarta. We used public bus then use private economıcal bus. (But it also the budget way to go to borobudur then using an agent tour). For 5 days i spent Rp.750.000 (about $70) including transportaion (airplane- jakarta-Yogyakarta wıth Aır Asia), homestay in Sastrowijayan (120000/ night because we were 3 people so i paid 40000/night),  transportation, ticket, shopping heheheheheh..
